We’ve been designing DACs for almost a quarter of a century, so the M6CD is every bit as exceptional as you’d expect, offering outstanding linearity and minimal noise, distortion or jitter.

The M6 CD’s 24bit/192kHz upsampling DAC can give a massive, measurable performance boost to digital sources, from discs to downloads to music streaming services.

The first thing you’ll notice about the M6CD is its sleek styling and superb build quality. Like its equally elegant siblings in the M6 range, this is hi-fi you will be proud to own.

The design isn’t just for show, however. The solidity of build at every level – including using a metal CD drawer – offers a stable platform for the M6 CD’s astonishing sonic skills.

The M6CD uses a top-quality CD mechanism, engineered to enable maximum data retrieval from your disc collection. That optimal information is then fed to the dual-differential, eight-times oversampling DAC at the heart of the M6CD.

We’ve optimised the implementation of this 24bit/192kHz DAC design to ensure ultra-low levels of distortion (0.0005%), minimal jitter and exceptional signal-to-noise ratio. Coupled with excellent linearity, this makes the M6CD everything a modern digital hub should be.

The upsampling DAC design will not only maximise the performance of your CDs, but all your digital sources, thanks to its switchable array of coaxial, optical and USB inputs. That means you can connect a wide range of digital devices - from your computer to a TV set-top box – and hear them at their best.

The M6CD has a robust output stage, offering both balanced and single-ended connections, enabling it to easily pair with the amplification of your choice. The perfect partners, of course, also sit within the M6 range.
